MDO (Medium Density Overlay) is ideal for exterior and interior applications that require a very smooth finish when painted. MDO board is a more balanced and dimensionally stable board than conventional plywood. Primed MDO will require at least two top and edge coats of quality paint prior installation. Properly painted MDO is very durable and weather resistant and will provide many years of service.
