How to Measure for Replacement Electric Sign Face
- • Measure Existing Sign Face: If you are replacing an existing sign face, simply measure the existing sign face's height and width. Be accurate to 1/8".
- • The "Sliding" Dimension: If an existing sign face is not available you must measure the "sliding dimension". A common rule is to measure the inside distance between retainers and subtract approximately 1/4 inch from both height and width.
